The Holy Spirit “blows wherever it pleases” and “you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going” (John 3:8).
When at peace,
we discover the freedom to be ourselves more fully,
even in the worst of times.
Letter to young people
Late in the evening, when the day has sunk behind us, I often happen to walk along the razor wire, and from my heart a voice always rises saying
In the speech on the mountain, a speech given by Jesus for the people of the new Alliance, we listened to some words dealing with prayer, fasting and sharing. The Letter to Titus urges young people to think (Titus 2:6), to reflect so as to acquire wisdom and discernment. Certainly thinking, paying attention to our heart’s movements and thoughts that invade our mind, rereading the whole day at night, is not easy.
“I write to you, young men, because you are strong and the Word of God remains in you, and you have conquered the evil one.” (1 Jn 2,14). The strength and the struggle against evil: according to the apostle John this is what marks young people, this is what a young man is invited to.
