Our way forward

The day after the feast of Pentecost the Community of Bose was notified that its founder, br Enzo Bianchi, together with br Goffredo Boselli and sr Antonella Casiraghi, have declared that they accept, although with a spirit of suffering obedience, all the dispositions contained in the Decree of the Holy See of 13 May 2020. Br Lino Breda had made the same declaration immediately, at the moment of the notification.

A few days hence, therefore, for the period indicated in the dispositions, they will go to live as brothers and sister of the Community in places distinct from Bose and its Fraternities.

We ask our friends and guests who have followed us with prayer and affection in these difficult days not to cease to intercede ardently for all of us monks and nuns of Bose wherever we are living.

Pray for each one of us and for our Community as a whole, that it may continue on the path of its founding carisma: that, faithful to its vocation as an ecumenical monastic community of brothers and sisters of different Christian confessions, it may continue to testify daily to the Gospel in the midst of the men and women of our times.
